About Us

Geosource was founded in 1999 to apply innovative uses of compost and composting technology to environmental problems.

We have used compost to remediate pesticides for the Air Force Center For Environmental Excellence (AFCEE), and reclaim and restore acreage disturbed by construction activities.

Geosource pioneered with Texas Dept. of Transportation to develop programs to use compost amended soils for re-vegetating disturbed right-of-ways.

Geosource is now a leading erosion control contractor for TxDOT, the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Railroad Commission of Texas, as well as city, county, and other public and private entities.
